Crew & Lu Fall Looks

Fall is my favorite season.  It’s just starting to cool off here in Arizona so we layer in the morning and evenings but during the day we are still in short sleeves and shorts.  I guess we get the best of both worlds.  I don’t really release complete collections like Fall/Winter or Spring/Summer.  It doesn’t quite fit my business mode right now.  Trying to juggle being a mom and running a business is challenging so I do what works for us.  I designed the last few drops to be layering pieces.  So it can be versatile with the cold and when it’s warmer.  One of my favorite pieces is this mustard romper.  It just screams Fall to me.

I loved how @bradyandlola styled her daughter in our romper.  The knitted hat from Sweet Eloise Designs and jacket for The Emry Shop are perfect layering pieces.

Ella’s look-  I layered the romper with a past season H&M cardigan (similar here) and a big flower headband from D’Beautique.

For me, the key thing to remember when I style Ella is not being too matchy matchy.  I like items to have the same color tones but I don’t think its necessary to dress her in a pink top, pink bottoms, and a pink bow.  Her wardrobe is based on if I was her size, would I wear it.  And to be honest her wardrobe is killer and definitely better than mine.

Bloomers are a huge staple for me.  They go with everything and you can either dress them up or dress them down.

I styled sweet Liv (Candace Appel) in head to toe Crew & Lu, with the exception of the bracelet. I think this outfit is perfecting for an outing.  Just add some cute flats like these from Old Navy and your little girl will be as chic as can be.
Ella in a more casual route with her jersey bloomers.  Paired with past season Peek sweatshirt (another cute option here), Bobo choses socks (again past season), and Zara kids tennis (past season).  I pair a lot of my current items with past season pieces.  Where do I find them?  Check Instagram, there are a ton of shops that re sell clothing in perfect condition for a decent price.  Instagram has taken shopping to a whole new level.  I only advise buying from shops that have a great track record and good feedback.  If there is hardly any feedback, you should beware as it could be a scam.

I hope this post has helped you with styling ideas.  Looking forward to bringing you more looks! Xo
